"People who didn't need people needed people around to know that they were the kind of people who didn't need people." --Terry Pratchett, "Maskerade"
I used to think that keeping a journal of personal thoughts in private was a sappy waste of time, but somehow, keeping a journal of personal thoughts accessible to anyone with an Internet connection seemed like the coolest idea ever. Hence, I've been blogging since 2003, and the 3849284 hard-cover thread-bound journals I've received as presents over the years have remained overwhelmingly unfilled.
I've lived in Beijing, Pasadena, St. Louis, and Irvine (5 weeks), but home will always be whatever shows up when I open Firefox.
